Gilmore Girls is one of the few things I miss about the Outside. That and a good cafecito. Good to see it's back if only for a very short while with NetFlix's "4-part event." Will have to find a way to watch it with Nokosee. I wish it included his dad, my father-in-law, Busimanolotome Osceola. Unfortunately, he was killed in our final battle with Army Rangers on a dark and moonless night in the Everglades. If you read my books you know he and I didn't start out well. He thought I wasn't worthy of his son or "The Cause." But I proved him wrong with an epic "walkabout" through the Everglades that ended with me stark naked, sunburned, starving, and covered in mosquito bites firing an AK-47 at him. That got his attention for sure. From then on he stopped thinking I was nothing more than a blue-eyed-blonde airhead who couldn't handle life without A/C or any of the other creature comforts we take for granted in "The Outside." Once he started loosening up around me, he started surprising me. Turns out the guy who kept the scalps of his recent kills (and one decapitated head) on poles outside his chickee loved Gilmore Girls. In fact the whole family use to watch it on a laptop deep in the Everglades in one of their camouflage hammock camps. Got electricity through gasoline powered generators for the most part although they could get it out of jerry rigged contraptions running off of car and truck batteries and wind and solar power. Got the picture from stolen mini Dish TV satellite componets. It's funny now how seeing anything about my favorite TV show brings back fond memories of my Micco, a man who at one time wanted to kill me.
