This  girl is  on  fire!

Alicia is singing my song. I am on fire for Nokosee.

Nokosee found a free moment while on the run from Uncle Sam, dropped by the Miccosukee Embassy one night and used the embassy's computer to do a multimedia riff off of Micco Mann's book cover of MY story for me. Said he couldn't get the song out of his head, that it reminded him of me. Especially this part:
"Looks like a girl, but she's a flame.
So bright, she can burn your eyes.
Better look the other way.
You can try, but you'll never forget her name."
Good golly, Miss Molly, how can I not love this guy. I mean he could have got caught or killed but he risked his life just to let me know how much he loves me.

That book cover always brings back good and bad memories. Because some rednecks wanted to kill us and my dad wanted to save me from Nokosee, the first of the New Seminole, we were on the run through the swamp with the Everglades burning down all around us. We had just met and were only 17-years old. It seems so long ago but it was only last year. And one baby later.
